DISTRIBUTED INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR CIM

CIMIS.net is an Exploratory Collaborative Activity between the European Union and Latin America, funded by the European Commission - the ECLA initiative.

OBJECTIVES: Promote Research & Development on CIM Information Systems in the context of Distributed and Heterogeneous Systems.

CIMIS.net involves the participation of three European and three Latin American research PARTNERS coordinated by the New University of Lisbon.

  • Project duration: Jan 1993 - Jun 1996.

    • A number of important RESULTS proved the feasibility of this cooperative approach between the two continents.
